Weekend Therapy

Salam all.

Saturday morning we had our late morning coffee at the back. 

Backyard agak tidak terurus sebab seminggu ni sampai rumah pun agak lewat tak sempat nak menjenguk ke belakang. 

Luckily my partner-in-crime ni nak juga take charge membela tanaman. Ada hati nak rebut kawasan jajahan dengan i. He claimed, "Memandangkan kawasan di depan rumah telah menjadi territory b, sekarang ini seluruh backyard adalah kawasan abang. Jadi, ikut suka hati abang ;ah nak tanam apa. Dan b jangan nak memandai tanam pokok-pokok kesukaan b dalam terrotory abang ye, abang bagi warning ni, kalau tak...abang cabut pokok-pokok b tu nanti". Eh, tak la..dia tak cakap lah macam tu. 

While the mami and walid sibuk doing house chores, this little boss was too demanding la pulak. 

Weekend ni i rasa exhausted and super mengantuk. Badan letih tapi masih mahu buat this and that, lepas tu i dah macam zombie walking around the house. Rest! Rest! Rest! Dah rest pun...

Ini pun dah minta Tuan Syed belikan.

But it didn't work either. 

I mencari ubat. Two weeks off from baking, yesterday my Ms. Europa started working again. 

Orange Poppyseed in the making. 

Not the cake i wanna show you here, but the baking tin! Tengok lah, jakun i dengan baking tin yang ada lubang tengah-tengah ni. My very first ever. Selalu tengok orang baking guna this type of mould. 

For me, kalau nak buat butter cake or any simple cake yang without topping, better guna baking mould yang cantik-cantik. Sebab cake yang ada topping, cantiknya ia pada decoration. Tapi cake kosong yang rasanya 100% dependent on the cake itself, harus lah cantikkan ia pada bentuknya. 

Masa mula-mula baking dulu, i only bought round and square tins sahaja. Masa tu asyik la bergaduh dengan Ms. Europa sebab dia canggih sangat sampai i tak reti nak adjust the heat. Sekarang i dah tau trick Ms. Eu ni. 

Lepas tu i bought silicon mould yang flower design. Cantik tapi kecil, kadang-kadang sampai batter penuh sangat. Sekarang Ms. Europa dah serasi dengan i, boleh la up satu lagi baking tin. Ala..beli di MakCik Bakery, Bangi je. Hajat hati nak cari design serong-serong yang lebih prominent but they don't have. Nak beli silicon mould, but the one they have lebih nipis pulak compared to mine, i don't like - nanti senget-senget batter tumpah, lagi meroyan i dibuatnya.

Ok, ni cerita last Friday. We had dinner at KL Tower, the walid had received an invitation to celebrate farewell party of his DG and DDG who are leaving the organization. Friday morning i dah pack baju of my three to pakai for the dinner and asked Maryam to bring the bag. After 6 o'clock in the evening only i realized that the bag was not in the car! Huwaaa...tak kan nak patah balik Enstek! Then the what-have-i-done moment started lah. 

Dah la i left the office a bit late.

I spoke to Tuan Syed twice, just to ask him the same thing - where to meet up.

I forgot that he already pick up the kids, tapi i pergi juga ke kindy and was told that my kids were picked by the walid.

Duss! 

And this breakdown mommy - tak mandi, rasa melekit satu badan especially celah-celah jari kaki, menguap lapan puluh lapan kali all the way to KL Tower.

The little boss punya diapers dah habis, not even one pun left in his bag.

The girls pulak were in their sports attire - takkan nak pergi dinner pakai baju bau itik tu?

Selongkar their school bag ada long dress yang pakai sebelah pagi, tapi berbau kepam. 

Fortunately, i ada spare Sutra Wellness scented spray dalam compartment. Then i spray sikit depan dan belakang baju, anginkan about fifteen minutes. I saja je cuba-cuba at first. Normally kalau kita spray perfume kat baju hapak, baju akan bertambah hapak, kan? So, kalau berbau hapak juga, memang i dah plan to buy them baju kat lobi KL Tower tu. Tapi, it really works! This spray de-odorized bau yang tak menyenangkan  tu.

I bought this scented spray from my colleague, i beli dua, one is citrus berry and one is rose. Bagusnya produk ni sebab ia multipurpose spray. Dah la wangi, boleh guna as air freshner, table and glass cleaner, ironing aid, insect repellant. For more info, please google ye.

Ok, that night, no one knows yang the girls recycle baju pagi tadi.
